A bursting contacts book would be an advantage, but we’re looking for the right person who will help drive the success of the business. Boundless enthusiasm, a can-do attitude and wanting to be part of a successful team are essential.

Based in offices that overlook the beautiful marina at Ipswich, only a short distance from the main railway station, Dock Street Creative Productions is a new, dynamic and high quality publisher. You will be

  • A highly experienced sales professional with a successful track record

  • An inspirational team leader with faultless integrity and impeccable judgement

  • Responsible for developing your own advertising portfolio and assisting the team to develop their portfolios.

  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Communication skills of the highest standard and unwaveringly positivity.

  • Good at understanding the brand values of the magazine and selling to create the right environment for the readers and other advertisers as well as offering a consultative approach to clients to best meet their needs

  • Adept at negotiating contract renewals including series bookings and rate increases

  • Confident to work on your own initiative, arrange and attend director-level client meetings

  • Commercially aware and target-driven

  • Driven to push targets ups and deliver results beyond expectations

  • Thrive under pressure and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

  • Technically proficient and happy to use CRM software

  • Happy to copy chase and manage your own client base

  • Happy to cross sell print and digital

  • Enjoy becoming a part of the industry you’re selling into, including attending parties, award ceremonies and functions
